Elizabeth Blasius and Jonathan Solomon founded Preservation Futures, a historic preservation firm focused on shepherding future landmarks that ”elevate the social and cultural history embedded in places and spaces.”
As architectural activists, their work often takes different forms — from grant writing, advocacy, community events & demonstrations, and occasionally architectural consulting. We created a dynamic, flexible identity system to portray the different configurations they, as a practice, find themselves in throughout the pursuit of speaking out for underserved spaces.
We also designed and built a simple web portfolio presenting the work of the firm, built on the Craft CMS, complete with an archive of writing in both media and academia that positions the thought leadership around justice, equity, and resiliency in the built environment.
