Solarise: a sea of all colors catalog is a visual documentation of Luftwerk’s exhibition of the same name at the Garfield Park Conservatory. The exhibit comprised of five dynamic installations that invited visitors to interact with color, light, and nature in new perspectives, taking into account the relevance of Jensen’s visionary landscape, and the architectural and societal significance of the building and grounds. In keeping with this holistic theme a solarized circle was used as the primary imagery for the exhibit. When designing the book Normal recreated this circle as a cut out of the cover, mimicking the same indoor and outdoor, interior and exterior nature of the exhibition itself.
