Amy Redmond is an art director, design educator and visual artist whose work is connected by a passion for typography. Her apprenticeship with Stern & Faye, Printers led her to the letterpress program at Seattle’s School of Visual Concepts, where for 18 years she taught and assisted with its curriculum development. In response to the impacts of COVID-19, she helped evolve that program into Partners in Print, working as one of the founding members of our Leadership Team. She currently serves on PiP’s Advisory Council, and explores new possibilities with wood and metal type in her private studio, Amada Press.
