The program is packaged in a black folio enclosing each of the compositions as small posters.
The project guidelines.

Poor Dog Group met while studying at the CalArts and have been working together since 2008. Group Therapy draws on 16 hours of recordings from the group’s therapy with a licensed professional to probe the inner workings of long-term collaboration. It is a documentary performance centered on a close-knit group of friends as they process their marriages, divorces, falling outs, alcoholism, the hustle of making art together, and what it is like to endure.

We designed this program with a set of formal constraints inspired from the content of the performance:

Compositions must use type only
Black and white only
Only use the assigned phrase
Use the fibonacci sequence a create repetition and variation
The canvas must be a golden rectangle
