Tiger Strikes Asteroid is a network of artist-run exhibition spaces with locations throughout the US. Normal created an identity system with the objective of visually representing how the collective supports artists and fosters connections and community building. The network is as strong as the sum of its parts. This is represented by arranging the type in a circle, which is both open and closed. Each word within the circle can be substituted by a collection of symbols and signs, signifying the importance of individual artistic expression within a diverse and ever evolving community. By visually breaking the circle, we make room for new connections.
