Branko Kincl is an architect, urbanist and educator — one of the greatest contemporary Croatian authors in this field, with career spanning over five decades. The monograph gives an extensive overview of his most notable projects, ranging from urbanistic systems, residental building complexes and sport architecture to large-scale industrial architecture and monumental airport projects.

Along with highly contrasting and meticulous treatment of typography, the cover and cut-out opening parts of each section contain optical illusion typographic details, as a nod to the author’s practice of using graphical elements in design of industrial facades and surfaces, inspired by the visual art influences of Croatian EXAT51 and New Tendencies modernist movements from 1950s. An intriguing front cover carries no information on the content whatsoever, and the massive spine of the book emphasizing the title in combination of UV-varnished and offset-printed author's name, is intended to stand proudly on the bookshelf.
