Megan Irwin is a graphic designer and educator whose studio practice is centered on archival research, material exploration, and typographic experimentation. Her self-authored work explores object and place-based narrative through the form of the book. She is interested in the interplay of analog and digital methodologies in order to resist the uniformity of digital tools and highlight the humanity behind designed artifacts. Irwin earned her MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and she is an Assistant Professor of Communication Design at Washington University in St. Louis.
