I am an interdisciplinary designer and maker from Puerto Rico with a BFA in Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I draw from painting, photography, printmaking, my upbringing in Puerto Rico, and the social, political, and cultural issues that surround both my home and myself and apply these elements to my work.

I am fascinated by the power and impact of design. A simple change in the weight of a text or a seemingly arbitrary choice of color is capable of seeping into your brain and influencing your thoughts, emotions, desires, and memories. Because it is such a powerful tool, I believe we should use design in a socially conscious manner. I seek to use the elements of design in order to create powerful content that will enact positive collective change.
