To celebrate the 2022 student exhibition of Foundation Department, Kansas City Art Institute commissioned us with this annual “A Portable Exhibition” plan—Foundation Deck, and this is its 3rd edition. 52 student works were selected as the front side of the deck card, the student work-inspired tuck box illustrations were also created with the energy of young creativity. The custom typeface of the deck were redesigned from a legacy archive of classic US deck game back in the 20th century, with the significant enhancement of legibility and a contemporary touch. The final products consist two appearance, in limited edition of 1000.
