Letterpress printed type specimen for NN-Noire by the Swiss typefoundry Nouvelle Noire.
Their Typeface NN-Noire is an experiment on legibility of a very bold and organic typeface. Honestly, to me the typeface looked like spots at first. So what can I do, if the typeface I should advertise on a poster looks like Spots? I make them nice dots! Dalmatian-spots!
Letterpress printed in 3 print runs from hand cut linoleum, laser cut MDF and Ludlow slugs.
