A self described “journal by curators for curators,” The Exhibitionist has generated relevant discourse around contemporary exhibition-making and curating since its first issue in 2009. The Exhibitionist: Journal on Exhibition Making the First Six Years, is an anthology of the first 12 issues of the journal bound into one large anthology. The graphic language of the publication is an homage the the iconic French film journal Cahiers du cinéma, and this 975 page collection was created by photocopying every page from all 12 issues resulting in a book with both an imposing object quality, but an informal aesthetic within the interior.
