In 2016, American police fatally shot 115 people who were either unarmed or “undetermined”—a conspicuous term to say the least. While some names may be familiar due to media attention or public outrage, others may quickly be forgotten. This poster memorializes all of them. It is a calendar in the most minimal form, indicating names, dates, locations, and ages of those lost to our country’s vain hysteria over crime and punishment, security and safety. In early 2017, 200 posters were printed and distributed nationally.
