LA River Public Art Project

The mission of the LA River Public Art Project (LARPAP) is to integrate an arts and culture infrastructure into restoration efforts along the Los Angeles River. Formed in 2014, LARPAP envisions a future for the river where art, nature, and play animate a linear scheme of vibrant public spaces. Art and its many interventionist strategies engage the public’s attention and warrant more than just a “seat at the table” in development planning.

The LARPAP type mark combines the cool machined letterforms of Breuer Condensed by TypeTrust with Zuzana Licko’s whimsical workhorse Tarzana.
