The INsite flipbook is an editioned artist book that tells the story of Luftwerk’s 2014 exhibition INsite at Mies Van der Rohe’s historic Farnsworth House. One side uses select stills of the documented projection, while the “flip” side is a page-by-page series of sequential stills from the content’s pure rendering. As the viewer quickly thumbs through its pages, a moving display of light unfolds, mirroring the kinetic energy, movement, and aesthetic found within INsite and with other Luftwerk light installations.
