Nada Abdallah

Nada Abdallah is a Designer and Assistant Professor of Visual Communication at the College of Fine Arts and Design, University of Sharjah. She is the Founder of Bilarabic Design Festival and Director of Meta.motif masterclasses and a Member of the Board of Directors of ATypI. Holds a Bachelor Degree in Visual Communication from the American University of Sharjah and an MFA from the Lebanese University. She won several awards in Design and Photography, and sponsored numerous winning students’ projects. Work exhibited in Lebanon, UAE, Greece, Korea, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Bahrain, KSA, USA and other. Active since the 1990s, her work and research focus on Arabic Calligraphy and Typography, and Motif Design.
