I'm an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and educator that thrives on aesthetic research, experimentation and engaging process practices in design. I am a design thinker and problem solver and I am ready to collaborate on commission or freelance projects involving visual art, design, printed matter, typography or visual experimentation.
My overall goal is to present alternate views of pre-existing perceptions and of the assumptions that humans make. I aim to create an alternate viewpoint (mirrors and windows) for the viewer by using layering (physically and conceptually) in an effort to challenge the assumptions of the way an image “should” be viewed, read, and understood.
I’m interested in the value of challenging and changing binary notions of thought by layering experiences, and seeking out different points of view through visual engagement and output.
